This is a 12 hour position that pays $8.25 an hour. A work day consists of a three or four hour shift during library hours.
Applicant must be at least 16 years old and successfully pass a pre-employment test. Good physical stamina is needed to shelve materials and move heavy book carts. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and patrons is also necessary.
Responsibilities include shelving materials, shelf reading, straightening, dusting and keeping the library in good order.
