Science Homework Tips

Homework Help Science

1. Establish an objective. Ask yourself what is the point of the experiment and how will you analyze the data. If it is not an experiment than ask yourself what is the main idea.

2. Identify variables and controls in the experiment.

3. Although science terminology can be confusing and contain a lot of jargon, you must familiarize yourself with the scientific vocabulary to increase your understanding of that subject.

4. Reading is key!

5. Usually with science there are always graphs. Look at the graphs closely there is usually a trend with variables. For example there are direct relationships between variable where as a variable x increases y also increases. There are inverse relationships where as a variable x increases y decreases. There could also be no relationship between the x and y.
