What was mine, and what we thought

All those in attendance thought the book was well balanced, and felt the story worked well as it was done. Once you got the players straight, it was easy sailing. The ending of the book is vague...you really don't know the future of Lucy or Mia, the two main characters in the story. You get a sense that, while their lives will never return to the normal they once knew, both Lucy and Mia will grow and change and make their new reality work. Even those who were left behind, mainly Mia's bith mother and family get some closure. It is a timely topic, and is done well.
