Author Crush!

YOU GUYS.

I have a SERIOUS author crush on Sarah J. Maas.

Like, serious.

I started reading her Throne of Glass series late last year and I’m absolutely hooked. The first four books of Throne of Glass are incredible. AND! I liked the first book of her other series, A Court of Thorns and Roses, even more.

Maas writes high fantasy that is compelling and romantic. Her books are probably bested suited for older teens who also enjoy Mary E. Pearson, Robin LaFevers, and Susan Dennard (who is real life besties with Sarah J. Maas).

I would suggest starting with either Throne of Glass (book one in the Throne of Glass series) or A Court of Thorns and Roses (book one in the ACOTAR series). There will be six books in the TOG series (book five is due out this fall!) and ACOTAR will be a trilogy (book two due out in May!) So if you’re an avid series reader-prepare to be hooked!
