Volunteer Lock-In: Zombie Apocalypse

Have you ever wanted to hang out in the library when no one else is around? Do you think you could survive against a hoard (er... one) of zombie librarians? Did you volunteer for the library during the summer and are ready to party? Come to our party!

We will be hosting an after-hours party/zombie apocalypse scavenger hunt and YOU are invited! 

August 6, 2016 

4:30pm - 9:00pm

Check-in will be from 4:30pm - 5:00pm. The library will close to the public at 5:00pm. Once the library is close, party attendees will not be permitted to exit the building until the party ends at 9:00pm.

At 5:00pm, we will break into teams, and each team will be given a list of objects needed to complete their zombie survival kit. Teams will be set free in the children's department to find all the items missing from their kits, but beware! A zombie librarian will be lurking, laying in wait to turn unsuspecting suvivors into zombies... 

Can your team find all the items on your list and make it to the safe zone in time, or will you succumb to the zombie invasion?

Pizza and snacks will be provided, as well as games, crafts, and more! For grades 6 - 12!

Because this is a party to thank our wonderful, hard-working volunteers, we prefer that attendees volunteered at the library this summer, or some time in the past, but we do not require you to have volunteered in order to attend.
