The Lisle Library sponsors free English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction offered to adults who need help learning to speak, read and write in English. No registration is required so please just come to any of the sessions. For more information, contact Jean Demas, Literacy Outreach Librarian, at email@example.com or 630-971-1675 ext 1002.
Our ESL for You! classes are held in the Lisle Library District's Group Study Room on selected Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - Noon.
English Conversation Groups
English Conversation groups are held every month in the Library's group study room on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, in the morning from 10:00 a.m. - Noon.
The English Conversation Group practices speaking skills and learns from book discussions led by Jane Cox, Literacy DuPage group leader. "Our attendees engage in lively interactions. This group meeting recently enjoyed increasing their current skills using book discussion techniques. All ESL adult learners are welcome at any of our meetings," said Jean Demas, Adult Literacy Librarian.
